To start preparing the beet tamles recipe, prepare all the ingredients and keep it ready
To cook the beetroot; Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat; Add the beetroot together with a little salt and cook for a few minutes until it is soft. Once soft, turn off the heat and let the beetroot cool.
To grind the coconut Masala, in a mixer jar, add the fresh coconut, the cooked beetroot, together with green chillies, cumin seeds and wholemeal pepper grains. Add ½ cup of heat to prepare a smooth coconut masala, set aside.
To prepare beetroot drums, in a large bowl, add the whipping curd and the freshly ground coconut masala and season with salt.
For the Tadka, heat the oil in a tadka pan over medium heat; Add the mustard, the cumin seeds and the division of URAD and allow it to burst and the Dal to become golden and crunchy brown. Then add the red chilli pepper and curry leaves and roasted for a few seconds and turn off the fire.
Pour this tadka on the beet drums and serve.
