How to prepare the Ambrosia salad
This classic fruit salad could not be easier to prepare! Here’s how:
- In a large bowl, mix the freshly thawed whisk, the Greek vanilla yogurt and coconut shreds.
- Open and drain all the fruit cans, then add them to the yogurt mixture. Mix well to unite.
- Finally, fold in the Marshmallow and mix to cover. Cover and let Ambrosia cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours. This allows all those fruity flavors that spread and combine.

How do I keep the remaining Ambrosia salad?
Keep in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a maximum of 3 days. However, for the best consistency, enjoy this salad on the same day or within 24 hours.
Can I do this side dish in advance?
Absolutely! The Ambrosia salad is a perfect dish to be done in advance. I advise you to do it in the evening before planning to serve it, as if I did too much in advance, the plot will start degraded.

Can I use fresh fruit in this recipe?
Part of the joy of this recipe comes from the consistency. Canned fruit is generally softer and sweeter, so I recommend sticking to that.
Can I make this recipe without milk?
Of course, she exchanges the fresh whisk and Greek yogurt for non -dairy versions of mounted topping, such as those made with coconut milk or other vegetable -based versions.

How can I know that it is chilling and ready to serve?
While cooling, Ambrosia’s salad will thicken and gather. It should seem smooth enough in the upper part, with bumps. It is not necessary to refrigerate it for a long time – 2 hours is a lot of time to make sure it is done!
What can I add for a bit of crunch?
Take into consideration the addition of chopped walnuts, pecans or other walnuts to this salad to enjoy a satisfactory crunch in each bite.
