I dreamed of this dive of spinach with pistachios and zhoug a few weeks ago, wanting to take a dip with a profile similar to the dive of Greek yogurt of spinach, but with more heat, more herbs and more consistency from a lot of zhoug, the spicy sauce of Cilando that I had in my refrigerator. Voila! A new favorite of the party was born.

It combines the rich creaminess of the simple Greek yogurt with a thin nulba from crushed pistachios and the delicate and citrus heat of Aleppo Pepper with lemon zest. The result is a dive ready for the party that has benefits for health; Greek yogurt and pistachios give him more proteins. To amplify the green atmosphere, I added a lot of bleached spinach: it doesn’t taste it much, but it is there, adding color and a push of nutrients.

It is excellent for entertaining or as a fun and unexpected addition to a spread of mezze. Serve it with pita chips, favorite crackers, sesame sticks or even fresh vegetables to immerse yourself. Please, take another 3 minutes to prepare the Zhoug sauce!

This North African coriander sauce with Jalapeños and citrus fruits is delicious from a later level. It adds a layer of Herby and bright flavor that really raises this vegetable dip recipe. Do you have leftovers? Use it to dress the red snapper in the oven or simply see where you lead your inspiration!

  • Spinach for children: Bianch and mixed in the dip, the spinach add a beautiful green color and extra nutrients without overwhelming the flavor. I used spinach for fresh children during the development of this recipe, but you could also use frozen spinach, thawed and well torn.
  • Shelled pistachios: These add a slightly sweet and hazelly depth and help to create a rich and creamy consistency. Note that if your pistachios are roasted and salted, it is likely that you can jump by adding further salt to this recipe/
  • Simple Greek yogurt It acts as the basis of this dip! Often, spicy and full of proteins, it makes this Dip ultra-Crema while keeping it light and refreshing.
  • Garlic: Just a small one is enough to add a punch and complete the flavors: rawing garlic makes a long way!
  • Aleppo Pepper: A hot and slightly sweet spice with slight heat that gives this delicate football. If you don’t have Aleppo Pepper, you can replace a mix of smoked paprika and only a pinch of cayenna.
  • Limone fanta: A small lemon zest illuminates everything. You will only need joy here, then clinging to the rest of the lemon to be used in another recipe.
  • Kosher and black pepper salt salt They are essential to bring out all the flavors of the other ingredients. Taste them and regularly according to need.
  • Zhoug It is a NorthFrican Herby and spicy sauce with coriander, Jalapeños and citrus fruits that contrasts with the creamy yogurt sauce and pops every bite. It is worth more minutes to create yours!
