Another fruity post! I know, I know. We have become completely fruity! But how could I resist? Tropical mangosteen is in season now! We have seen heaps and heaps of these ball -shaped purple fruits with its nice green hat everywhere. This small and humble -looking fruit hides a delicious sensation of taste inside, a delicate white juicy meat, luxuriously sweet and spicy, reminiscent of the flavors of fishing, pineapple and liters. The taste buds say “Wow!”

This tropical fruit is also known as the “queen of fruits”, mainly due to an association with the Victoria reduced queen. The fruit is ready to eat now. The meat as you can see are sectioned as oranges. There are some very soft seeds inside which are edible. You can gently separate the sections before eating or you could simply burst in the mouth. Nom-nom!

Succoso, spicy and sweet with hints of fishing, lithchi and pineapple, Mangosteen Yummileus is really suitable for a queen!
