Colombian
Zanahoria baby con queso feta / By: Agustina Beamonte

A perfect recipe to accompany a protein dish, to use as an appetizer or to welcome guests at home during this holiday season, friends and family. It’s a healthy, yet fun and delicious recipe.

You need:

  • 12 baby carrots from the orchard
  • 100 g of feta cheese
  • 1 lemon
  • Brotes de Pomario ready for finalization
  • Mix of Pomario petals
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Wash the carrots without removing the leaves (because you can eat those too). Place them in an oven-proof container with olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, salt and pepper. Cook in the oven over medium/low heat until soft when pierced with a fork. Remove and let rest until lukewarm. Sprinkle again with the olive and season with salt and pepper. Add the feta and complete with Pomario flowers and shoots.
