Perfect for smoked barbecue, grilled chicken, abundant beef and practically all meats, this ridiculously delicious recipe is low in carbohydrates, sugar without sugar and has quickly become a reference condiment in our kitchen, obtaining enthusiastic reviews from friends on incredibly rigid diets!

When it comes to homemade condiments and sauces, we are on a kick to make them lower and compliant with our possible diet possible. We jump the high -fructose corn syrup and other ingredients for this spicy sauce for the barbecue that adds tons of flavor without a number of useless high carbohydrates. With the whole grid we make, we continued to ask ourselves, BBQ Salsa that is suitable for the keto? And looking at the bottle after the bottle, no.
Now, let’s not count net carbohydrates that many people make and follow a solid carbohydrate diet in our home. We also avoid many additional MSG and other flavor enhancers, therefore also liquid smoke, coconuts and soybeans. Making a BBQ Keto sauce and easy from scratch was the only option.
If you are wondering how you can make a good barbecue sauce for someone with a keto diet or even a very limited diet, this sauce checks each box.

Because this recipe works
With friends with a low carbohydrate diet limited, it was important for us to create the best barbecue sauce with zero. One who could also enjoy the 3-2-1 Traneger ribs, the smoked chicken legs, the smoked beef ribs and practically everything we had on grids and smokers (or even sometimes in the oven, like these juicy pork cattle in the oven).
With this in mind, we started testing barbecue sauce recipes with low carbohydrate content that wanted to defeat the best on the shelves in food stores with the depth of smoky flavor, pungent heat and sweet balance, but omit everything that caused concern.
After a few test races, we decided to keep the heat delicate, the minimum dessert and add a depth of flavor with cheto maple syrup and then thicken and smooth the barbecue sauce with butter only using simple ingredients.
We skipped the liquid smoke, anything with potential hidden glutamates and attached to what we knew (and yes, the tomatoes have glutamates, but it was minimal compared to the market options). But we also kept it simple, because we want people to feel this easy recipe without feeling too complicated or requires all day. And low and here, we made it in lots since we made this recipe composed!

Suggestions for recipes
- This version omits many flavor enhancers, but if you are just looking for a low carbohydrate barbecue sauce and can add other key ingredients for a deeper flavor of the smoky barbecue, try a pinch of liquid smoke, soy or coconut for a depth
- Growing up, we had a similar basic recipe in which we simmer the onions and garlic with real mustard in a pot. If you have time, replace the garlic and onion powder with bucking garlic and onion and brown them before slamming in the ketchup and other ingredients. Pure the sauce before adding the butter, unless you mind the consistency in the barbecue sauce.
- Since we add the butter, this version is not vegan (and also, because you are on this site) but if you needed it, omit the butter. The finished result will be thinner but would control that box.

Frequent questions
Is it spicy? No, we kept this on myth focus, but you could easily add a pinch of spicy sauce to revive it!
How to thin the barbecue sauce? If this sauce becomes too thick, it simply warms in a pan over low heat, slamming while heating slowly. If necessary, add a splash of water to thin it. Alternatively, microwave at 30 seconds bursts, mixing between each one.
BBQ SACE KETO? The homemade barbecue sauce can be keto. Many brands of shops also adapt to the account, but they have many sweeteners and ingredients that we wanted to omit. Like all diets, you must always read the ingredients and make sure to choose the best option for yourself.
