My chopped cheese sandwich put a touch in the courtyard on a classic Bodega, with minced minced meat, American cheese and vegetables on a hagie.

Chopped cheese sandwiches
If you’ve never enjoyed a chopped cheese sandwich, you’re ready. This Sandwich is a staple of New York, with juicy minced minced meat, loose American cheese and a satisfying crunch by fresh vegetables, all packaged in a roll of toasted hagie. My version takes this classic and gives it a turning point in the courtyard by cooking it on the plate. It has all the melty and robust goodness of a hamburger but in a sandwich that is fast, easy and so satisfactory.
Whether you are hosting a casual cooking or want a one -week filling dinner, this is a guaranteed crowd. Turn on the plate and start.

What is a chopped cheese?
The chopped cheese sandwich is a classic creation of New York City, with roots in the Bodegas of Harlem and Bronx. Some argue that its origins date back to Middle Eastern influences, while others affirm that it has been invented in a Bronx Bodega decades ago. Often compared to a Philly cheesesteak, a chopped cheese is made by cooking and cutting ground meat, dissolving the cheese and serving it on a roll of hero with classic condiments such as lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise.
But don’t take it back, this is not a Philly’s cheeseteak. There is no sliced steak or provolone here. Batinated beef just seasoned cut on the plate and suffocated with melty cheese. Although my version is not strictly traditional, I remain faithful to the heart of this sandwich while I give it my tour for barbecue in the courtyard.
Season for minced meat
An excellent chopped cheese begins with well -seasoned beef. Some argue that the secret for an authentic chopped cheese is in the seasoning. Those who claim to have invented it are not renouncing the mixture of spices, but most of the recipes require the adobey. I am using my rubbing of beef, because it has those savory notes in powder and garlic in adobe powder, but it is thin enough to make the beef flavor shine.
You can also use the same parts of salt and black pepper or any condiment that your family enjoys ground meat.

How to prepare chopped cheese sandwich
Preparing a chopped cheese sandwich is focused on quick cooking and rich flavors. With a hot plate and a few simple ingredients, you can have this Sandwich ready in no time. Here’s how to do it:

- Chop the beef. Using a spatulaLightly chop the hamburger meatballs, then turn each cake upside down and continue cutting into small pieces. Connect with the remaining rubbing of beef and cook another 2-3 minutes.
