Today we are immersing ourselves in everything you need to know on the Ninja Flexflame plate. How to share it, cook it and keep it clean.
Choose your plate
You have two options: the half a plate or the Scardle Full. Both are made of carbon steel, which means that they must be seasoned before starting to launch bacon or destroy hamburgers.

Step 1: plate condiment
Start rinsing the plate with hot water and soapy. Dress it completely using a paper napkin or normal towel.
Then rub a thin layer of oil on it. Canola or any high heat oil works great.
To install the half plate on your Ninja Flexflame, remove a grill grid. If you are right right, place it on the left side. Left -handed? Go right. The exhaust hole can face the front or rear. I usually put it towards the front.
Do not forget to jump into a lining of the clean tray in the fat tray.
Preheat the flexflame at 500F on the setting of the grid. Add 1–2 tablespoons of plus plate oil and rub it with a paper napkin using the pliers. Let it heat for 5-10 minutes.
Now, technically, Ninja says to let it cool and repeat it. But I deal with shortcuts. Put some bacon and start cooking. Bacon fat is the non -stick coating of nature.

Step 2: Cooking on the plate
Once seasoned, you are ready to cook. Use the roast/cooking function between 350-425F, depending on what you are doing. The plate is supplied with a useful graph that includes different ideas for meals.
You can cook with the lid up or down. Know only that closing the lid accelerates things, thanks to the fan.
Step 3: clean the plate
After cooking, while the plate is still hot, scrape the fat in the drain hole. If the food is blocked, use a scraper. You can add a splash of water to really stubborn points, but first turn off the burners.
Once clean, add a little more oil if necessary, then let it cool and keep it.
The half plate adapts perfectly to the furniture. The complete plate is more complicated. It is too long for lateral storage, but it can rest in front of the tank above the bar of the tank divider. Just be aware that it will block the storage space.
Keep your Ninja Flexflame plate seasoned and it will be your point of reference for everything, with crispy bacon and from eggs to hibachi -style dinners.
