nachos on a pan topped with salsa

Nachos are a snack for me: they are so easy to make and everyone loves them.

This easy Nachos recipe is full of seasoned beef and obviously a lot of grated cheese. Just fill a pan and cook until golden and sparkling!

Add your favorite condiments (take a look at our favorites below) and serve with sour cream, sauce and guacamole.

Homemade homemade nachos on a pan seasoned with jalapentos and sour cream

The Nachos were created in Mexico in 1940 by Chef Ignacio Anaya García, whose nickname was Nacho: they were known as Nacho special. Once the restaurant has worked, the Victory Club, closed, opened its restaurant called Nachos.

Tips for ingredients for Nachos

Start with Tortilla and cheese chips … and then add your favorite condiments.

  • Pattered tortilla: You can’t have a Nacho recipe without tortilla chips! Jump the flavored ones (the Doritos do not make great nachos). Choose more thick tortilla chips to resist condiments; The thin cellar -style chips break easily.
  • Cheese: The best Nacho recipe is one with a lot of cheese! I like a mixture of Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheese.
    • Shortcut: Use pre-SHOCOGE cheese mixtures such as Mexican or Texmex mixtures.
  • Meat: I love “beef” this recipe with ground meat and black beans, you can use either or just one. Nachos are a great way to use the remaining Taco meat, the steak or other meats.

Our favorite condiments for Nachos

Nachos are an excellent appetizer but they are abundant and full of goodness, so they are also fantastic as a meal! Here is our list of fixings that are worthy “Nacho Supreme”!

  • Add them before cooking: Black olives with slices, red onions, canned or grilled corn, fresh jalapeños.
  • Add these after cooking: Jalapenos in brine, diced tomatoes, green onions, cubes with cubes or coriander.
  • Servers these on the side: Guacamolo, Pico de Gallo, sauce, sour cream, lime wedges.

Heating of the remaining nachos

The best nachos are appreciated immediately when the tortillas are fresh and crunchy! If you have a lot, there are a couple of options:

Option 1: Refrigerate. Cook on a pan or a fryer at 400 ° F up to heat, about 7 minutes. The chips themselves do not stop, but still have a good flavor.

Option 2: Discard the chips and save the Topping Nacho in a covered container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Add it to fresh chips and cook like new.

The leftovers can be added to the Doritos saucepan, to the Taco saucepan or mixed in the Tortilla soup!

  • Preheat the oven to 375 ° F.
  • In a pan, brown the ground meat over medium heat until the pink remains. Drain excess fat.
  • Mix the dressing of Taco, water and black beans if you use. Cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes or until the water is mostly evaporated.
  • In the meantime, spread the Tortilla Chips on a circled pan. Top with half of the cheese, the beef mixture and then the remaining cheese. Sprinkle with half of the green onions.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is dissolved and sparkling.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and add the remaining green onions and desired condiments. Serve with sauce and sour cream.
Replace the beef with grated or ground chicken. Make sure the beef mixture is cooked until most of the liquid is evaporated so that it does not make the nachos.
Pre -herded cheese mixtures work well for Nachos.
Archinted tortilla chips (such as Doritos) are not recommended. Do not use the thin cellar -style chips.
Use a combination of hot condiments (cheese, beef, beans) and cold seasonings (fresh tomato, coriander, jalapeno sottaceto) for an excellent flavor.
