BBQ Patato Che Back

There are a handful of methods to produce baked potatoes for barbecue and I tried them all. Unfortunately, they always come short. A method involves the winding of the baked potato in a sheet, then grill hot. While this translates into a cooked potato, this method does not give you any barbecue flavor. So why cook them on the grill first? Other methods dry potatoes, so they are not soft or humid.

To remedy this complete and total parody, I created my method for making baked potatoes on the grill! To get the baked potatoes for perfect barbecue, they are first wrapped in a sheet and grilled at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes and then cooked uncommon on direct fire. With this method, a slow increase in temperature is obtained, but the sheet maintains the fire of cooking the potatoes evenly.

After the first hour, detached the sheet and put on the direct heat for crunchy the skin and give the potato a good barbecue flavor. This last step is crucial to obtain that crunchy and crunchy skin that will have a good flavor, if not better, of the soft interiors.

Baked potatoes grilled in a sheet

When they grill baked potatoes, I recommend you wrap them heavy lamina Before putting them on the grill. Cooking the baked potatoes grilled in a sheet helps potatoes slowly rise in temperature and allows each potato to cook evenly.

I can’t put enough emphasis on the use of a good heavy sheet while shouting these potatoes. The heavy sheet does not divide or does not tear while wrapping or cooking, so it does not run the risk that anything that filters while the food is on the grill. If you do not have a heavy sheet at hand, you can arrange 2 layers of normal foil to increase strength.

How to grill baked potatoes

I love cooking baked potatoes on the grill. Of course, the oven does the work, but cooking on the grill on the indirect heat and then finishing warm and fast, they come out, tasting better than ever. Follow these 5 steps to get grilled oven potatoes every time:

  1. Prepare the grill and potatoes. Preheat yours grill at 350-400 degrees F for two-zone cooking (one side with indirect heat, one side with direct heat). Rinse and rub the potatoes to clean them and remove excess dirt.
  2. Wrap the tatenes. Arrange 1 piece of 18 “aluminum sheet For each potato. Sprinkle any potato washed with olive oil and season well with salt and pepper. Wrap every potato strictly with a sheet.
  3. Grill those potatoes! Place the potatoes wrapped on the indirect side of the grill, close the lid and cook for 1 hour. It rotates the potatoes to the 30 -minute sign, so that the potatoes that were close to direct heat are rotated away (and the potatoes that were more far from direct heat are now closer).
  4. Remove the sheet and the hot grill. After grilling for 60 minutes, remove potatoes from the sheet using heat resistant gloves or calipers. Take care not to burn you; These tables will be hot! Your potatoes should be tender fork at this point. Place the potatoes discarded on the direct side of the grill and cook them for 1-2 minutes per side (4-5 minutes in total).

It takes approximately 1 hour To completely grill the baked potatoes with the temperature of the grid set at 450-500 degrees F. Make sure to keep track of the internal temperature of the potatoes while cooking. The temperatures of the grid may vary and your potatoes may need a little less or more time to get to that perfectly soft consistency.
