- 100 g / 3.5 Once Spam
- A little kitchen oil (e.g. rice bran oil, canola oil)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup of corn beans
- 2 cups of cooked white rice (e.g. rice sushi)
- 10 g / 0.4 Once of green onions, thin cut
- 10 g / 0.4 ounce of seasoned algae, thin cut
(optional) sesame seeds
Sauce
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, original (use Kikkoman Brand)
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, brown
- 1 tablespoon of rice wine, sweet (Mirin)
* 1 tbsp = 15 ml, 1 cup = 250 ml
How to do
1. Prepare the eggs: Beat the eggs in a bowl. In a pan, add a little kitchen oil if necessary. Pour the eggs into the pan and cook over medium-low heat until it is completely set. Remove from the heat and transfer to a cutting board. Roll the omelette and cut it into thin stripes. Alternatively, you can prepare the scrambled eggs. Set aside.
2. Cook the spam: Heat the kitchen oil in the same pan over medium heat. Add the diced spam and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and crunchy. This should take about 3-4 minutes. Once cooked, remove the spam from the pan and set aside.
3. Brown the corn: Cook the corn beans gently in a pan with soy sauce, sugar and rice wine, allowing them to absorb the salty savory flavors while jumped.
4. Assemble the bowl: In a slightly shallow bowl, like a bowl of pasta, place the cooked rice as a base. At the top of the rice with chopped corn beans and onions. They submit the omelette strips of the eggs and the crunchy spam at the top. Drink the mayonnaise above, ensuring that it is distributed evenly. Add optional condiments such as sesame seeds, strips of expert algae and furikake (rice seasoning) for extra flavor and consistency.
