Today we bring you a recipe for receiving guests at home. It is ideal for an appetizer, or as a companion or garnish to any meal.
Here we like to create recipes for all tastes, so this one is vegan and tastes delicious. But if you want to give your personal touch with other ingredients, that’s fine too. Remember that the idea is to eat better, enjoy cooking in a healthier, more natural and, why not, simpler way.
Here is the recipe. Dare to try it and create your own variations.
Portobellos filled with cashew cream
Ingredients
🍄 The amount of portobellos = to the guests you have
🥜Cashew cream, almonds or peanut butter
🧅 One finely chopped onion
🧈 Butter, ghee or coconut oil (if you want it to be vegan).
🌱 Sprouts to refine and give a touch of freshness.
Preparation
Remove the “stems” from the portobellos and chop them finely. Also chop the onion as small as possible and fry it in the butter, being careful not to burn it.
When the onion is transparent, add the portobello stems and brown them for 1 minute. You can remove them from the heat and reserve.
Take the portobellos without the stem and fill them with the cashew cream. On top of the cream, place the freshly fried onion and stem mixture.
You can put a little nutritional yeast on top to give it an even more special touch and put them in the oven for 25 minutes at 200°C.
Serve and add some sprouts to finish.
In the video we also leave you the whole explanation.
Enjoy your portobellos and the beauty of eating well.
see you again
