Puina Tambuoli/Tambli is a very traditional Karnataka dish that our grannys have made for many years. It is basically a plate based on raw yogurt served together with rice. Thints can be made using different herbs/seeds/skins/ingredients. Today we have Tambli / Mint Thambli leaves. The celestial aroma that comes out of your kitchen when you roasted these leaves together with some cumin and pepper seeds is so fantastic.
Serve pudine tambles at room temperature with hot steam rice and kerai sambar or enjoy as a drink.
