The beef box sandwiches are stacked with canned sliced meat, Swiss cheese, cabbage salad, pickles and dressed for the 1000 spicy island, all layers between toasted rye bread.

Canned beef sandwich against Reuben
Both sandwiches have canned meat, Swiss cheese, 1000 island and served on slices of toasted rye bread. But the Reubens are piled up with the sauerkraut while the canned beef sandwich are seasoned with cabbage salad and thick slices of sottacets. The combination of savory, sweet and spicy flavors with the crunchy consistency of condiments and toasted bread makes this a classic sandwich everywhere.

What do I add to a cannino cannino canned box
- Bread: I love the rye for a canned beef sandwich but with a natural leavening is another great option.
- Boxing meat: This sandwich begins with cooked canned meat. The canned meat bought by style, or in box purchased in the shop it works well. While it is optional, I like to gently heat the canned meat (especially if the slices are thick).
- Cheese: If you are heating the canned meat first, add it with the Swiss cheese so that it becomes slightly melty. Other cheeses to try are sliced provolone, mozzarella, American slices or white cherdar.
- Get dressed: Thousand Island Dolding with a little Digione mustard adds a creamy flavor to this sandwich. Check the recipe notes for a supervella island sauce.
- Condiments: Buy or create homemade cabbage salad. The chips for antide or sweet pickles are the perfect topper for canned beef sandwich and offer another crewing layer.
