Indian cuisine has a rich tradition in the use of ancient cereals that are healthy, filling and have been part of our diets for generations. Among these, the miles have attracted renewed attention both in India and all over the world for their numerous health benefits. One of these miles is the reason, also known as mile or red mile. On Reason or Mile of finger
Reason is a grain wonder, a small round of shape with a reddish color and commonly consumed in the states of the Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in India. In Marathi language, this mile is called “Nachni” and in Hindi language is known as “Mandua”.
As mentioned above, Reason (Millet of the fingers) is an ancient wheat. Initially it came from South Africa and then spread to India. The proof of his presence was found on the archaeological site of Halur in the Haveri district of Karnataka, dating back to 2000 BC
Even today, Karnataka remains one of the main producers of reason. In southern karnataka, especially in rural regions, the mile of finger continues to be a basic part of the daily diet.
Here, it is usually consumed as balls of flavors and soft known as Mudde reason. Reason Mudde is also commonly made in the state of southern India of Andhra Pradesh.
There are many advantages that are known to us. This grain rich in protein is also rich in calcium and helps reduce blood glucose levels.
Apart from this, there are more reasons why the mile must be included for their fingers in their diets. I mentioned them in the following sections.
It is also known that Indian cuisine has many recipes that are popular in different regions across the country. A variety of recipes that can be easily made with finger mile include focaccia such as bhakri or dripped, idli, vada, dosa, pudding, porridge, papad, etc.
Whether Miglio Reason or Farina can be used to make a variety of recipes. Rotti (Flatbread) is a classic preparation made in northern karnataka.
In Maharashtra, some well -known recipes are Nachni Ladoo, Nachni Bhakri and Nachni Papad. Porridge reason, also called malt, is a common dish often prepared with milk or water and sweetened with sugar or jaggery. It is usually administered to babies, small children and people who recover from diseases.

MUDDDE REASON
The mud rays are simple and healthy balls made with mile flour and water. They are a basic food in Karnataka and have also enjoyed some parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. These nutrients can be seen as one of the original forms of “protein bites”.


Malt Reason
Reason Malt is a healthy breakfast drink based on flour reason (or sprouted flour), water or milk and sweeteners such as jaggery or sugar. You can also add walnuts, dried fruit and aromas according to your tastes. I usually add cardamom dust together with some almonds or anachds. This easy recipe gives you a tasty drink that brings together quickly.


Yeast bread
Reason Roti is a rustic and abundant Indian focaccia made with reason and wholemeal flour (attack). This is one of the easiest and best ways to use the reason. This recipe is similar to the way Roti or Jowar Roti is made. You can serve it with any Sabzi, fry, from or curry legumes.


Reason laddu
Reason Laddu is a fast, easy and healthy Ladoo variant made with only 3 ingredients: Reason, Jaggery and clarified butter (clarified butter). These ladoos remain well for a week at room temperature in a fresh climate. In a warm or humid climate, refrigerate them.


Idli
Idli They are a healthy and delicious IDLI variety made with finger mile flour, Idli rice and urad dal. Gluten, vegan and friendly. You can enjoy them with sambar and coconut chutney for a filling or brunch breakfast.
