In gluten-free & more, we know Patrick Ford for many years and we have always known that it is a superstar. And now, even the entire world of specialized food knows. Patrick, vice -president of Ford’s Gourmet Foods and the man behind the magic of the bone sauce Suckkin’®, Sweet Southern®, was officially introduced to Hall of Fame of the Specialty Food Association“And we could not be more proud!
This honor is not a small feature. The Hall of Fame recognizes the people who truly shape the specialized food industry and Patrick does this (and more!) In the last three decades. Whether you have had the joy of meeting him in person or you simply fell in love with his award -winning sauces and condiments, you undoubtedly have his passion. Patrick is the real deal: a mentor, lawyer, leader and loved member of the gluten -free community. And yes, we are more proud to call him a family.

“For 28 years, Patrick has been a dedicated member of the Specialty Food Association and a true champion of our community,” said the president of SPI Bill Lynch. “We are honored to welcome him to the Hall of Fame of the SF, together with some of the most influential pioneers of specialized food, including his mother! It is a full -time moment.”
Yes, you read well. Patrick is now in the Hall of Fame with his mother, Sandi Ford, president of Ford’s Gourmet Foods. It does not become more moving than that.
Patrick is also quick to share the spotlight. “This honor means so much for me from the SF,” he said. “I share this with my mother, Sandi; my father, Lynn; my brother, Vaughn; and the incredible team of Ford’s gourmet products and Ford products. You do everyone part of this family.”
From their roots to Raleigh, in the North Carolina, the Ford’s Gourmet Foods is a fourth generation family business and home to some of the tastiest creations in the world-like the fire dancer Jalapeño Peanuts, Southern Yum Pecan Fragile and, of course, the iconic, the iconic Bone Suckin’s Salsa, Sweet Southern®. (Funny fact: it is the only Barbecue sauce to be classified n. 1 from Newsweek, Food and wineand more.)
