Imagine a bloody Mary with a sweet type of potion to always take you back. The type that starts smooth but returns with a little bite. Voodoo Bloody Mary is magical. The type that brings you every time.

Confession: I hate Bloody Mary’s.
Yes. Hears.
(Sorry, if you expected you were more tempting than that. I made you fall hardcore).
It’s not that I don’t like a good cocktail for breakfast. Because trust me, I do it. It’s that
The Bloody Mary tends to be an exaggerated cry for the attention or face of Instagram in most places these days. And, once again, they are not above small cheeseburger. But, I want me to hook me precariously above my cocktail. No, no, I don’t do it.
Not only the favorites of Sunday brunch are so heavy as to give Dolly Pardon a race for money, but they are also often loaded with everything that the characteristic flavor comes from any irrigation hole it soon opened to sweep via eggs and pancakes. It seems that too much good is really a negative thing, at least when it comes to cocktails.
I don’t want a bite of Old Bay when I’m gathering crabs, and I certainly don’t want to sip a bloody Mary BeachSide. Nor do I want to season it with giant legs, grilled cheese sandwichesor fried chicken.
But, as I confessed, I hate Bloody Mary. And I believe that this unique too zealous is the reason.
Tomato juice is fine alone; Vodka is rather neutral. Add a little acid and spices and underlying flavors should complete themselves. It looks like the type of cocktail that I could rather imagine for brunch.
Still, my research to enjoy the Bloody Mary continues.

We have so -called things, go too far and took a good thing and we have lost control. The original Bloody Mary is said to have been Nothing but vodka and tomato juice From the New York Bar (in Paris) already in 1921.
From there, the genealogical tree branched out in Caesar, Michelada and, of course, in the Virgin Mary. And we are honest, there is probably a bleeding mule outside somewhere right now with the way people seem to gravitate towards those copper cups.
But the trunk of this tree remains true. A simple cocktail with essential salty ingredients and a small fist.
Voodoo Bloody Mary is my tour of this. A mixture of classic ingredients with a homemade voodoo sauce added for heat. It is a thin and subtle type of burning that you take you when you don’t expect it and makes you curious more.

And only to be able to go out here, in the GirlCarnivore meat laboratory, I threw a slice of smoked bacon in perfectly cooked hard wood. But of course, it is optional.
You need a little inspiration to go with this, check this Burger for breakfast.

For the BBQ Voodoo sauce
In a large pan over medium-high heat, add the butter and whirlwind to cover the pan.
Add the onion and brown until softened, from 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the garlic and habanero and cook 30 seconds, until it is fragrant.
Season with salt according to need.
Mix the tomato dough to cover everything and cook 1 minute.
Mix the tomatoes, the brown sugar (one spoon at a time if you are like me and prefer less sweet), white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, horseradish and chipotle peppers. Mix to unite.
Mix the Tabasco sauce and the Worcestrshire sauce.
Add the black pepper and the celery salt.
Cook over low heat over low heat, stirring often. As the sauce thickens, tastes and adapts with more sugar, horseradish or Tabasco depending on the tastes. Let the sauce cook, moderate the heat so as not to boil and thicken about 20-30 minutes.
Add the ketchup only if the sauce needs some creaminess.
Once cooked, remove from the heat to cool. Puree if you wish.
Keep in hermetic containers in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Use on prawns, chicken or wherever you like that subtle heat.
