Hands down, this is one of the simplest recipes I do, whether it is a camping meal or an elegant dinner with a glass of white wine, and everyone thinks that it is worthy of a restaurant!


What do you need to make this recipe
- Extra large or large shrimpdefrosted and expelled. We like them with shells so that the butter remains trapped in the shell as they cook, producing extra flavor.

How to make garlic butter prawns easy

This recipe works in a pan on a propane grid, inside the upper range or above traditional coal. Just cook over medium-high heat as indicated in the recipe card.
We love cast iron pans for the ease of cleaning and even heat. If you use something else, make sure it is a fire resistant.


Storing leftovers and heating
How to keep leftovers: There will be no one. But … if they are there, keep them in an airtight container for a maximum of 3 days in the refrigerator.
When they heat the prawns, they can become rubbery in the microwave. Cover in a microwave bowl and heat until the prawns are heated, in explosions from 10 to 15 seconds, launching the buttery prawns to make sure they warm up evenly. The butter will heat faster shrimp, will use caution.

Unless you are buying shrimp from the fresh boat, the prawns that you buy defrosted at the seafood counter have already been already frozen and defrosted. Keep frozen prawns at hand allows you to mount this easy recipe when you want.
Cooks Note: You can use pre-bad prawns for this recipe. Follow the recipe exactly, decreasing only the time when the prawns cook in butter so as not to cook the prawns too much. However, we believe that rough prawns deepen the general flavor of this dish.
