Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
- 1 tablespoon ceremonial green matcha or matcha flavor of your choice
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup white or chocolate chips cchocolate chips
- Beat the butter and egg in a bowl using an electric mixer.
Steps
- Add the sugar to the eggs and mix well. Add the brown sugar and beat until smooth
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and matcha green tea powder. Mix then add to the sugar mixture and mix.
- Add the vanilla extract, salt and baking soda and mix until completely combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix until completely dispersed.
- Pour onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the pan. Let cool, wait a couple of minutes and enjoy!
