The lemonade for the refreshing watermelon is the final summer drink: sweetness, tart and full of juicy fruit flavor. It meets in a few minutes and is perfect for everything, from the barbecue of the courtyard to the silent afternoons in the patio.

While my Egyptian mint lemonade will always have a special place in my heart, this watermark of watermelon is quickly becoming a second neighbor. Nothing says summer like fresh watermelon, and this easy lemonade is one of my favorite ways to enjoy it!
Miodo two whole lemons – Yes, peel and everything! – With sweet watermelon, a little lime juice and enough sugar and honey to balance the flavor of bold citrus fruits. There is no need to make a simple syrup or extra dirty pans: this meets right in the blender. Pour it through a fine mesh filter causes a smooth and sixteenth -century drink with an intense pink color.
Serve it on the ice with a sprig of fresh or mint basil for a perfect summer sipper for images. If your watermelon is super sweet (take a look at my tips to choose the best one), you may not need a lot of adding adding.
Summary

What’s in the watermark of watermelon?
You just need some ingredients to prepare this vibrant watermark of watermelon. With the right balance of dessert and tart, it is proof that the best recipes must not be complicated!
- Lemon: Mixing whole lemons, peel and everything, gives this lemonade a bold and citrus punch: make sure to wash them well and first remove the seeds. This technique gives the depth of the lemonade letting the blender do the work.
- Watermelon: Fresh and semi -free watermelon adds natural sweetness, a lot of juiciness and that wonderful rosy color. Of course, this recipe is sweeter with an extraordinary watermelon, but it is also a great way to redeem one that is not as sweet as you hoped!
- Lime: Just a little lime juice illuminates the drink and balances the slight bitterness of the lemon.
- Ice: Mix a little ice crushed in lemonade helps lemon and watermelon to disappear as they merge.
- Sugar It gives a push of sweetness to the natural sweetness of watermelon. You can adjust the quantity depending on how sweet your watermelon is.
- Honey: A little honey adds complexity and completes the acidity from citrus fruits. You can use all the sugar or all honey if you prefer. Stick to a bright and floral acacia OR wild flowers honey for this recipe.
- Fresh basil: A nice final touch! There is no basil in the lemonade itself, but I like to add a sprig to my glass. When I take a sip it is paradise to inhale its summer aroma.
- Lemon wedges and slices of watermelon They are optional but fun to garnish every glass! Do you need help to break down an entire watermelon? I will guide you through it!

What to serve with the watermark of watermelon
This refreshing watermark of watermelon is the perfect sip for sunny days and is beautifully combined with all your favorite Mediterranean style summer dishes. It is the perfect drinking option without alcohol for cooking or a picnic in the courtyard, and would be at home on a cooler day for a day on the beach or a road trip.
It is an excellent combination for summer snacks such as zucchini and feta skewers or eggplant bruschetta and a burrata table. I love to serve it together with easy grid favorites such as my thighs of grilled chicken thighs with Sumac, onion in brine and carbonized lemon or kabob of grilled salmon. The sweet and spicy lemonade perfectly balances all those flavors of the Mediterranean.
