I have a Thailacata recipe of milk tea on my list of things for a long time, but as always I have so many doubts when I feel so popular, other cooking recipes and postponing it! I bought this Thai tea powder from my trip to Koh Samui. The moment I saw the cha Cha between Mue, I recognized it because I saw many recipes and videos of YouTube. I didn’t want to lose it because I know I would never buy online and I would have done the post. My mental voice said, this will make me do the post, haha. So even then, I took it so much time to shoot myself.
In Singapore, Thai cold tea was very popular, it is still, for its vibrant color. I also want very often, although I only had 2-3 times mainly like the take away / delivery, which makes it a little diluted. - Thai tea powder – Use brands such as CHA between mue for the base that gives bold color and sweet flavor.
- Condensed milk – adds sweetness and creamy consistency.
- Evaporated milk – gives tea, a rich bite breasts, balances the taste of sharp tea.
- Sugar – By sweetness.
- Salt – To bring a balance without tasting flat.

Let’s see how to prepare the frozen tea in Thai at home, you will love simple steps.

- First of all bring to boil 2 cups of water.

- Then add 2 tablespoons of Thai tea powder.

- Mix well and leave it steep for about 5 minutes at least.

- Subsequently, filtering it by filtering through a better cloth tea foil or any strainer you have.

- Then mix condensed milk, sugar and salt to dissolve in it. Cool completely.

- After it reaches room temperature, you can refrigerate it. In this way the ice does not dissolve too much when pouring on the ice.

- If you want to taste the test, do it now and regulate sugar or strength now. It should be on the sweetest side so that later, when we serve it, it will be immediately after pouring the ice.

- To serve, take a glass full of ice. Pour cold tea which is distinctly Thai about it up to almost full.

- Finally add a pinch of evaporated milk.

- Mix well and have fun immediately.

Replacements and variations
- For the vegan and light version, it is possible to use almond or oat milk as substitutes for Thai cold tea.
- You can also use regular tea leaves, use food colors based on natural plants and a pinch of pure vanilla extract if you do not have Thai tea powder and you want to recreate in a similar way to this.

You can refrigerate tea prepared alone and use when necessary. You can bring to room temperature when necessary and dissolve the condensed milk and sugar. After mixing condensed milk and evaporated milk, you can keep it without mixing the ice for 24 hours.
Superior suggestion
Cold tea is originally sweet if prepared in Thai -style, so if you want to try the original taste, follow the recipe. If you know what you are doing and you want to reduce sweetness, you can adjust the recipe accordingly.
Add condensed milk, sugar, salt to hot/ hot tea or room temperature. In cold tea, it will not dissolve easily.
