How to store leaves? It’s an everyday question and the answer is simple:
Leave them in the bag and we’ll give them to you
But why? “Is there any way to preserve vegetables, lettuce or leaves so they last longer?” They asked us too. We also have a simple (albeit controversial) answer to this, to which we respond with a question:
Why do you want your leaves to last more than a week? Remember that we try to consume fresh vegetables, fill ourselves with life and eat better. In our bags your leaves last a week (or more!) in perfect condition and that’s how long they stay fresh.
Reminder: when we talk about leaves we are referring to: mesclun, spinach, rocket, tatsoi, green and purple mizuna, sweet mix, protein mix, iron mix or lettuce mix.
We share with you this list of 5 reasons to leave vegetables, especially leaves, in the bags we give you:
- We design our bags in a material perfect for leaf storage, which allows the exchange between oxygen and CO2 and prevents contamination.
- You avoid cross-contamination when transferring them to other containers.
- Reduce the risk of dehydration Remember that we design the bags with all of this in mind!
- You are giving proper use to a plastic designed for this. Remember to keep giving it more uses, because it is a 100% reusable bag and also made from recycled and recyclable plastic.
- Opening and closing the bags is very simple. Just take it out of the refrigerator, open the closure, remove the amount of sheets you will use and close it again. No complications!
A tip: if you see that some leaves are starting to deteriorate or wither, remove them in time so that they don’t ruin the rest of the product and you can continue to enjoy it fresh.
We hope that these tips are useful to you and that you can put them into practice.
Until we meet again.
