This spicy sauce is a smooth and bright yellow seasoning that combines a mustard and vinegar base for a unique and incredible barbecue sauce.

- Worcestershire – The soy sauce or coconut aminos work instead of the Worcestrshire.
- Spicy sauce – or pepper flakes
- Garlic powder AND Onion powder
- Black pepper
- Also chili powder – This is generally not in barbecue sauce, but the anchoic pepper powder adds a terrosity with a pinch of heat that I consider spectacular in making a unique version of this.


How to prepare the Carolina golden barbecue sauce

Once cooled and sealed in jars or air sealing containers, this sauce should be kept in the refrigerator. It will last two weeks, kept in the fridge.
We don’t recommend freezing this recipe. Just make a fresh lot when necessary.


Ways to use this recipe for barbecue sauce of mustard
