Wheat Rava / Godhumai Rava / Broken Wheat (1⁄2 Cup): This is the main ingredient of the recipe. It will be slightly rubbery of consistency with respect to the normal semolina.
Milk (1 cup) Water (1 cup) : Milk is added to give wealth and creaminess to Kesari. You can also add non dairy milk such as almond milk, oat milk based on your health diet. The water helps to cook the rava of wheat completely and also guarantees a soft consistency.
Sugar (3⁄4 cup): Sugar is added to provide sweetness and also to balance the flavors of Kesari. If you want to make it healthier, try with other sweeteners such as powder dates, coconut sugar, jaggery powder and palm sugar.
GHI: The GHI is added for the aroma and also to obtain the lucid plot of Kesari.
Cardamomo powder (1⁄2 teaspoon): Cardamom powder offers a warm and fragrant flavor and will not survive the general taste. For a rich taste, you can also add some saffron wires as a healing or add saffron milk.
Alsow Nats (1 tablespoon): The anacards are roasted in clarified butter until golden brown. It provides a hazel and crunchy consistency to Kesari.
Kishmish raisins (1 tablespoon): The raisins are roasted in GHI until they swell. You can also add other dried fruits such as almonds, pistachios, coconut pieces or even chopped dates to roast and garnish.
Food color (an optional pinch): It is completely optional for the yellow or red food color. To give Kesari natural color, you can use saffron or turmeric powder.

Roast: In a pressure cooker, add the clarified butter, then add the Rava broken wheat. Road them slowly on a low half -average flame. Stir continuously until it becomes a nice aroma and a golden brown color. Make sure not to brown. It will hardly take 3 to 5 minutes.
