Vegetable Quinoa Patty Recipe

  • To start preparing the recipe of the vegetable quinoa pie, we will have to cook the quinoa and let it cool.

  • Cook 1 cup of quinoa with 2 cups of water over low heat with lid in a saucepan or in any normal pan. Drain the excess water and keep the quinoa aside.

  • In the meantime, heat some oil in a pan with a heavy bottom. Add the onion and cook until it becomes soft.

  • Once the onions become soft, add carrots, corn beans and spinach. Cook until all vegetables become soft. Once done, turn off the heat and let it cool.

  • In a bowl, add the cooked quinoa, sautéed vegetables, corn flour, powder pepper, red pepper flakes, salt and teaspoon of kitchen oil. Don’t add water. Check the salt and spices and season according to the taste.

  • Mix everything correctly and prepare the vegetable quinoa pie with the help of the palms of the hands.

  • Heat a pan with a little oil. Once it is hot, add the vegetable quinoa pie and cook it on both sides until it becomes evenly brown.

  • Transfer the vegetable quinoa pie to a serving dish and serve hot.

  • Serve the recipe for vegetable quinoa skate as a snack together with the coffee/Masala tea. You can also serve it for dinner together with tomato soup and summer salad recipe with lettuce onions and tomatoes.
