And the fresh homemade corn bread is good as you get. I have made this corn bread recipe for years, but I also wanted to try a vegan version. Because everyone deserves to eat a great corn bread. 😉

How to prepare vegan corn bread
This recipe from a cabin is so crazy to do, you don’t believe it. Let’s start!
Start preheating the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. So, in a large bowl, add the corn flour, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

So add the melted vegan butter (I like the balance of the earth) and mix everything together.
So, slowly add the non -dairy milk. I like to use almond milk – But you can use any type you prefer.
You may need a little more almond milk to bring the corn bread batter to the right consistency. It can vary a little depending on the flour you use.
So, I always start with about 1 cup of almond milk and then I add a little more if necessary. Remember, you can always add Moreover Milk to the batter, but you can’t take it away!

Once the vegan corn bread batter is smooth, pour it into a lined pan parchment paper And cook until golden and the center are set. This should take about 20-25 minutes in a grade 400F oven.

Easy variations
The fantastic thing of this recipe is that you can use it as a “basic” recipe of corn bread and adjust it to your liking.
If you prefer A sweeter corn breadJust adjust the amount of sugar in the recipe. Maybe add 1 tablespoon of sugar more at a time or try to add a little Agave syrup Or instead maple syrup.

Or maybe you prefer a less sweet and more salty corn bread. It’s easy, just reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe and add some diced jalapensos or fresh corn beans.

How to serve vegan corn bread
