True story, they are not all burgers and french fries here. When I’m not on the road, I often cook on my own. It is cathartic for me. Music on, wine in hand and time spent in the kitchen … because, when I finished traveling for weeks, I want to go home and turn on my grids to create healthy meals to refuel with refueling (and no lie, help with the detoxification necessary for detoxification).

I love life on the road, jump around, see places and meet people. But it leads to some moving choices that I would not have eaten at home. When I go home, I hit the market and filled it with vegetables, fruit and flavors inspired globally.

Many of my home recipes are inspired by my travels all over the world, heavily pulling spices and aromas from the memories of crowded markets and street trolleys. There is such an abundant taste profile for each region of the world and be a little a drug addict (shockI know), I take careful memories of the meals I feel and the people I share them with.

Having traveled in the South -est Asia, I found the fantastic, refreshing kitchens and every flavor built and made A meticulous layer at a time. There is an understanding of the balance and a distinct taste in every bite. Curry is one of my favorite memories in the area. So many options to combine with fresh vegetables and meat.

These Kabobs bring together the flavors of Grilled meats on road trolleys with the Bold spices mixtures that I love rice with coconut turmeric infusion and all in Less than 30 minutes. Practically making them mine Favorite Kabob recipe out there.

Some notes on coconut turmeric rice:

Can you cook microwave rice packages without microwave?

I love those Grab and Go Rice packages, one are perfect for the control of portions when you are not cooking for a lot of people and are fast. I found some influenced by global flavors and keep them at hand every time I want a night of shortcut in my kitchen. However, I don’t have a microwave oven.

I discovered that you can open those microwave rice packages (I use the Harvest village brand when I can find them) and Cooks in a pan. I add a little fat (oil or butter) to the pan and I greet the rice in a pan until I heated – usually 10 minutes!

Add further coconut milk or chicken broth, cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes to make it really easy.

How to prepare coconut rice from scratch?

Don’t worry if you can’t find rice packages on the market or you would prefer to simply prepare turmeric rice from scratch. Delicate turmeric flavors go so well with the thin coconut!

To do, Boil my rice in a 1/2 coconut milk chicken broth mixture 1/2 – Replace the amount of “water” instructed with the milk and coconut broth and sprinkle in a teaspoon of turmeric for cup of rice with liquid while cooking the rice. Cook the rice as instructed, cook over low heat over low heat. When the liquid is absorbed, it will be a little more sticky than the boiled rice in the water.

Will coconut milk make my rice sweet?

Nope, coconut milk – as long as you buy unsweetened coconut milk – has no added sugars. Unless you add something sweet to the mix, this does not make the sweet rice at all. Instead, it adds a very delicate flavor to rice. Me too Mix in just chopped coriander When I rice from scratch.

I love combining this salmon rice, Kathi chicken rollsAnd also gnocchi!

I prefer red curry paste above the dust. You can find it in the international section in most markets. If you are lucky enough to have an international market nearby, my favorite brand is in a small aluminum box and has a red label.
It is possible to keep the remaining curry paste in an airtight container for a maximum of 3 weeks. To avoid any contaminatine, place the winding directly against the surface of the pasta before sealing.
