Goan Chana Ros Recipe (White Peas Curry)

Goan Chana Ros is a vegetarian dish of Goan cuisine made with dry white peas (Vatana Safed). In Ros recipes, we add barely grated coconut, instead of roast coconut that is used for many other Goan dishes. Just roast the spices and grind together with the barely grated coconut and add boiled white peas to prepare this recipe. Serve the Goan Chana Ros recipe with steam rice, Kelyachyo Fodi (Banana) to have a nice Goan vegetarian meal. You can also serve Chana Ros with bread and Rotis, but we prefer to have it as a side dish with rice.
