My favorite recipe
My moment at the moment is one of extreme practicality so I prepare them in a very simple way so keep your eyes open otherwise you make a mistake and the recipe ends!
Ingredients
I start by seasoning the minced meat at least 4 hours before preparing it, being:
- for 400 g of minced meat I use 1/2 chopped onion;
- 2 crushed garlic cloves;
- 3 tablespoons shoyu (soy sauce);
- 2 slices of crustless bread, softened with milk for about 10 minutes (wring out the milk while adding);
- salt, black pepper, a handful of green chilies and 1 egg to bind.

How to do it
For the sauce I used 1/2 chopped onion, 2 crushed garlic cloves sautéed in olive oil, 1/2 packet chicken broth powder and 1 can peeled tomatoes.
I then prepared the meatballs and “brown” them using a non-stick pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
Then I put them in the sauce and boiled them for another 10 minutes to finish cooking.
But I can tell you that if you want to throw some grated cheese on them or stuff them, it’s a blast!
ATTENTION: This 400g meatball recipe makes A LOT of meatballs, so I always use half the seasoned meat to make the rolls.
