How to prepare sushi?
Let’s start with the Salmon Hossomaki, wrapped in seaweed and rolled thinly. The seaweed for Sushi is called Nori and today it is easy to find it in supermarkets and online shops that sell it. Comes in sheets, in a pack of 10 or more units.
Preparation method
To assemble and roll the hossomaki, I wrapped a bamboo mat in cling film, but if you don’t have it you can do this with a clean tea towel.
To find out how to make sushi, start by placing a thin layer of rice on a sheet of seaweed. Every time you handle rice you need to moisten your hands so it doesn’t stick.
On top of the rice, a fillet of cream cheese. Arrange the salmon fillets and green onions on the cream cheese and roll up.
In mine I forgot to cut the seaweed in half and there was a piece left that I had to cut at the end, but in the end the result was nice, look at it:

Another format I created was Jyo, also called Dyo, Joe, Jô. My cutest ones (and the hottest in my opinion):

And finally the Nigiri which is just rice and salmon. The most difficult thing here is to cut the salmon, so I leave 2 references that helped me a lot, the of this website and a video that explains the whole process:
I managed to cut the salmon, but I warn you that without an ultra powerful sharp knife and mega blaster it will not work, look at what a beauty everything is ready:


In the rice recipe, I only made 1 cup and used only 1/4 of the result to prepare all of the above. It produces a lot. Whoever does it will then tell me how the experience was!!!
